Elizabeth attended Brown Mackie College and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. She was the recipient of the 2015 Student Excellence Award in Veterinary Technology for outstanding performance and exceptional character. She is an Elite Fear Free Certified Professional.

Elizabeth is a member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, and the Missouri Veterinary Technicians Association. Elizabeth is currently working towards Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation. She is an annual participant of mock interviews for the Veterinary Technology Program at Jefferson College. In her spare time, Elizabeth loves to travel, go to concerts, and spend time with her cats.
